Martine & The Christian Gnostics
Hey Martine. Here
is a fuller meaning of the Gnostic Philosophical Idea:
"You Are Real"
You are real. All
I am saying is that you are not this figment, this imagining.
This unreal
MARTINE REFLECTION is a caricature and a cardboard persona behind which you are
covered up.
All I am saying is
uncover yourself for a moment (you can go back pretending your Martine
caricature at any time).
You are really "Something else"
pretending to be "Martine". Your "Acting" is so perfect you
have thoroughly convinced yourself and everybody else that you are "Just
Martine".
All I am saying
is: you have forgotten who you are and you should wake up. The real you is
immutable, eternal and absolute. . .
. . . My daughter
says there is a Christian and Philosophical belief system that is 3000 years
older than present day Christianity called Gnostic Christianity but more
popularly known as “Gnosticism".
She says these
"Gnostic Christians" actually wrote The Gospels that are in the
Bible, and that there are Gospel Scriptures that exist that are not found in
the Bible. These additional Gospels that are not in the Bible she says were
discovered in some cave in Egypt about 50 years ago. They were in some very huge clay jars in a
place called Nag Hammadi, and these "Lost Gospels" are known as
"The Nag Hammadi Scriptures"
This religious
belief system is centered on the idea that there exists a creative force that
the Gnostics call
"The Mystery and The Mystery Experience"
And that there
are these "The Mystery Religion" Christian Sects that are still in practice all over the
world today, especially in India and Tibet in China.
I have personally
never heard of any of these religious practices myself, but she says she had a
friend in college who tried to "convert" her to Gnosticism! She says
The Gnostic Christians say . . .
. . . You are The
Mystery’s objectified self. In other words all of us are the worldly
manifestations of The Mystery. Supposedly
we are The Mystery having Earthly experiences?
Reality, the objectified Mystery, is The Mystery Experience. The Reality Experience of The Mystery is this
Creative Force (similar to ‘The Force’
in the Star Wars movies) "experiencing an Earthly life" through each and
every (7 billion!) one of us”
The Mystery’s
experience as "Martine" for example is The Mystery "Living a Martine life" for a
brief while but in reality The Mystery is “Eternally UNDYING".
Let say you,
Martine, was born in 1975. The Gnostics would say the real you is "UNDYING
and UNBORN"; the real you was never "NOT ALIVE", and that you existed
in an "UNBORN state" before 1975, at which time you became “not-UNBORN".
Your true self is “UNDYING". You, or The Mystery in you, choose to become
not-UNBORN in order to have a brief “Martine existence experience” here on
Earth.
My daughter asks
two weird sounding questions that she said her college friend posed:
Is
there LIFE AFTER
DEATH?
or
Is
there DEATH AFTER LIFE?
The Gnostic Christian would answer by saying:
"The essential (real) you is UNBORN and UNDYING. The
real you is NEVER NOT ALIVE". However, The Mystery, in order to have a
Reality Experience for a brief while, chooses a state the Gnostics call "not-UNBORN"
to enjoy an Earthly Existence Experience" .
Think about music on a CD. UNBORN would mean the music exists on the CD unplayed. Not playing the music live does not mean "Your Music" is not alive; it only means "The Song That is You" is not being played in the "CD Player of The Mystery" in this moment. UNDYING means, whether or not it is playing, "Your Music" exists. YOUR MUSIC is NEVER NOT ALIVE. "not-UNBORN" are the times when The Mystery "puts on" The Music That is You, and savors the sweetness of Your Song from start to finish. Returning to the UNBORN state again means The Mystery packing away one of its all-time memorable music CD's, "Martine's Song", for safekeeping in his favorite album collection. Your Music will be played again from . . .

As The Mystery embraces her, The Reality Experience that is
Martine unfolds in space and time and blossoms. In the beginning and with full
“Gnosis” (that is, in full self knowledge and self awareness), The
Mystery becomes "Martine" in The Reality Experience.
That is, in the beginning, The Mystery is living "The Martine
Life" lucidly and knowingly.
Have you ever had a lucid dream? It's when you are dreaming
but still sound asleep but yet you are fully aware that you are dreaming. Well
"Lucid Living" is knowing The Martine Life you are
currently leading ("dreaming") is just a passing 'Reality Experience'
phase from which you are going to awake. You are in the Reality Dream
but you know full well you are The Mystery’s Reality Experience
living a Martine existence from which you are going to awake sooner or later
Eventually The Mystery falls asleep within The Reality
Experience (I am not saying you bored The Mystery to sleep!), loses itself in
the “Martine" character so convincingly; she becomes ignorant that who she
really is, is The Mystery having one of its countless reality experiences .
The Gnostic
Christian's admonition:
"KNOW
THYSELF; WAKE UP!"
is the call to Martine to remember her true self; to
remember that her true identity is The Mystery. The Gnostic would say you should be mindful and remember that you are
so much more than just a Martine experience.
The Mystery is soundly asleep and sincerely and truly is convinced she is
the Martine character she is dreaming about in The Reality Experience.
A Gnostic Christian would say to you:
Martine: You have forgotten who you really are. Martine, try
and remember who and what you really are. You are
SOMETHING ELSE
And you need to
SNAP OUT OF IT! and
KNOW THYSELF!
In other words, in the Reality Dream,
“Martine”
is just one of the countless personas through which The
Mystery is having part of its Reality Experience
The Martine story
Martine and Consciousness
Let's revisit the
"Martine Story", with a twist. The twist is, in "The Mystery Story",
the Martine character is The Mystery having Earthly experiences. In “The
Martine Story”, Martine is the Reality Experience Persona of Consciousness.
The world in which Consciousness forms a part
is a vast Selfplex. This Selfplex, of which consciousness is its core, is an
integral element of an even vaster memeplex matrix. This vast memeplex is a complex
web of interconnected network of memes and meme patterns forming a vast “patchwork-quilt-like”
meme fabric. Consciousness forms the central region of this Selfplex.
Consciousness generates a model of Objective Reality within this Selfplex, and represents itself having experiences within this Objective
Reality Meme Landscape model as a Persona.
Within
"The Martine Story", The Martine Persona meme model is the central
vehicle within the Objective Reality meme model through which Consciousness
experiences the real world external to Consciousness. As Consciousness models
objective existence, it models itself as the persona "Martine”.
Consciousness is like the Central Processing Unit (CPU) and the Operating
System (OS) of a computer rolled into one; some would say it is the MIND-BRAIN
Unit of the Selfplex. From the point of view of Consciousness, the ONE CONSTANT within the constantly
moving and changing Objective Reality model is its Persona, MARTINE.
ZOMBIES
A Zombie is a
human being that lacks conscious awareness. It can accomplish tasks as well as
anybody but a zombie has no clue what it is doing and why it’s doing it. If I
were to replace the consciously aware Martine with a zombie, her zombie would
complete tasks as well as Martine but it would be clueless; a zombie human has no
conscious awareness nor understanding of what and why it is doing what it is
doing. In this sense, without consciousness providing meaning, context and
understanding in her life, the Martine Persona is a zombie. A zombie is like an empty suit. The zombie only has personality when someone is "wearing the zombie suit"
For example we can all agree that Smartphones are intelligent-seeming machines. And we can also all agree that Smartphones are zombie-like. Don't get me wrong, A Smartphone is an impressive near-intelligent supercomputer. However, a Smartphone has neither conscious awareness nor understanding of what and why it is doing what it is doing. To date, there is not one "intelligent" Smartphone or "intelligent" computer network, including the Internet's World-Wide-Web, with conscious self awareness. At this point in the evolution of computing, there are no self aware intelligent computing network systems (but they are coming!). Today's computers are, at best, nothing more than "Intelligent" Zombie Machines.
These Computer Zombie Machines only have the illusion of conscious self awareness because they are embedded in our world culture. Being an element within human culture, the computer gives the false impression that it is imbued with The Consciousness of The Human Spirit.
Superman Returns
Consider a screen play called "Superman Returns". As you know Lois
Lane is a character in that world. Let the actress playing this character be Martine.
Let the author of "Superman Returns" be also Martine. So, Martine is
in that world, takes part in it but she is not of it. As Lois Lane she has to
abide by the script of the play. As Lois she is a part of the fabric of her
world. She cannot escape her world; not for a minute or a split second. Of
course, Martine can enter and leave this world - she is in it but not of it.
From the point of view of Lois Lane she can only perceive the presence of Martine
as Deep-Silence, or a state of deep dreamless sleep. In other words, when the
director yells "CUT!" and Martine stops acting, Lois Lane becomes
briefly non-existent. Lois Lane, when she re-materializes (when the director
yells "ACTION!"), may well think to herself "I was in one of
those dreamless sleep again. . ." (The audience in the theater can hear
her silent thoughts). The script says that whenever there is a "CUT!"
this amounts to "Lois Lane goes into a deep dreamless sleep", and
when there is an "ACTION!" this means "Lois Lane wakes up”. Of course, this plays out in a logical consistent manner that is in sync with the psychology of the characters. So Martine stops acting as Lois Lane and Lois Lane is in a state of suspended animation which is deep sleep for her. Now, let us say a being enters into Lois's world and pretends to be another character in the play. She is from the real world, the author's world. Her real name is Maria. This character, Louise Lane, is the twin sister of Lois Lane. One day, while Lois was day dreaming about flying around Metropolis in the arms of Superman, Louise interrupted her.
"Martine, ah. . . I mean, Lois, I have a secret to tell you"
"You have such bad timing" Lois said, annoyed
"Superman is returning to buy you a diamond ring a year and 2 days from now, which is a Thursday, and exactly at 2:30pm that day he is going to propose to you"
"Hey, how do you know all this?"
"But never mind that, I am going to tell you an unbelievable secret that is going to absolutely blow your mind!"
"Are you kidding me!" and thinking to herself 'she must be smoking wild mushrooms again and sniffing glue and. . . .'
"No, I am not sniffing glue . . . ah... This secret is out of this world, no kidding!" Louise said excitedly, interrupting Lois's thoughts once again.
"K. . . get on with it, butt-head"
"You know how recently you have been saying that you haven't been dreaming about Superman. . ."
"but. . . but. . .I didn't tell anyone about. . ."
"Yeah, those deep dreamless sleep. . ."
"I didn't tell anyone. . . not even you! Who are you and what did you do with my sister?"
"Martine, will you stop being silly and let. . ."
"What did you call me? Who is this Martine, one of your crack head pot smoking weirdo chinky-eyed friends?"
"She is not my friend"
"Listen, Lois. I am going to reveal to you what eyes cannot see, what ears cannot hear, what fingers cannot feel, what. . ."
"CUT!! CUUUUTTT!!" screamed Martine, the director, before announcing
"Actors, Actresses, you guys in the monkey suits, the three palm trees, the Wind and the Rain ; everybody go to lunch. . . EXCEPT YOU, Maria!"
"Martine, is that you? You are just too much. You are the director, AND the author?"
"AND Don't forget I'm also Lois Lane AND Superman. What the hell do you think you are doing?! I am gone for ten minutes, leaving my stand-in as Lois Lane and come back to see you messing with my production?!".
"You are also Lex Luther, Martine? What an egomaniac!", Maria's jaw dropping and her eyes popping as she leafed through the script
"This play is all my creative imagination. Lois lane is me, the stage is me, every prop, every character is me, even Louise Lane is me!", boasted Martine
"My spirit is the life of this production. This production is me. If it did not spring from my creative consciousness it would be non-existent", Martine trumpeted unapologetically
"And the academy award goes to. . .The Donkey suit; no it goes to The Jack-Ass-In-The-Box; no it goes to the Virtual Slime Mold. Oh, I forgot. All these props are you!" Maria performed mockingly
"Okay reveal to me what eyes cannot see and what ears cannot hear", challenged Martine
"I will. Would you agree that the eye does not see, Martine?"
"In this you are absolutely wrong. Even a two-year old knows you can only see things with your eyes", Martine sneered.
"I can forgive a two year old but what is your excuse? I will only agree that without the eye visual sensation is virtually impossible", lectured Maria.
"Is there a difference between seeing and having visual sensations?" Martine asked incredulously.
"If you don't think there is a difference, answer this question: can a being without consciousness really 'see'? What finally does the 'seeing', the eyes or your consciousness? When you are unconscious can you 'see' even though you still have your eyes? Furthermore I ask you: What is the one thing which cannot be seen, heard or touched. What is really doing the seeing, the hearing, the touching and so on? Consciousness itself. So now, Martine, answer this question: Can you reveal to me what no eye can see, what no ear can hear and what no hand can touch? Would you agree that it is Consciousness itself? Can your eyes see your consciousness or is it your consciousness that, ultimately, allows you, as a sentient being, to truly 'see'?" Lectured Maria.
"Do I have to remind you that I only hired you to be the narrator of MY play?" said Martine reminding Maria who is boss.
"And that's all I'm doing. . . with a twist"
"With a 'TWIST'? How dare you mess with my script. . .By the way, what did you mean by 'Deep-Silence'?"
"K. . . am I still the narrator?" said Maria, wondering if she was being fired
"We'll see" taunted Martine
"When the director yells 'CUT!' what happens to Lois from her perspective, her point of view?", Maria asks Martine.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah she is in a deep dreamless sleep; you want her to hear 'CUT!'? That's impossible because this is not in her world, you doofus", said Martine scornfully.
"So as far as she is concerned she is sleeping and not dreaming. In actuality we know she is non-existent because she is only a character in the play", Maria went on.
"I get it. The author is in that world as 'Lois Lane' but she is of another world, the real world. Go on" said Martine with interest.
"In the real world she is Martine the author, the writer/director, Martine the student, Martine the violinist; in other words her potential is virtually limitless, one of which is playing the character, 'Lois Lane'" Louise went on.
"You are saying Lois Lane does not have any potentiality, she is just 'Lois Lane'?" inquired Martine.
"Well, at least less potentiality, yeah. Anyways we are getting ahead of ourselves" said Maria, stalling.
"Let me see if I get this: 'Deep' means limitless potentiality" said Martine, now very curious.
"Yes. From the point of view of Lois Lane when she is in a 'Deep' sleep she is unconscious ('existing' only as potential) and she is experiencing nothing or 'Silence'.
"This 'Deep-Silence' is Martine in her limitless potential when she is not acting as Lois Lane" continued Maria.
"Can 'Lois Lane' be ever aware of Martine?" wondered Martine
"Are you asking me if it's possible for a character in a play to be aware of The Author/Director?" asked Maria rhetorically.
"Only if another character in the play divines the author to her. . . and that's where 'Louise Lane' comes in" added Maria, pushing her luck
"You are pushing your luck. . .what do you mean by 'divine'?" demanded Martine
"What I mean is that it is impossible for Lois Lane to see the author or even imagine the director; she can only experience the author through gnosis"
"This 'gnosis' is a way of knowing the author?" Martine asked
"Consider this passage in your script:
Louise Lane announces to Lois Lane
"My dear sister, Martine lives in you and you are merely one of her experiences"
"Martine lives in me? what are you talking about my dear nutty sister?" says Lois to Louise.
"Yes. She is your consciousness" added Louise mysteriously.
"Martine is your consciousness, my consciousness. She is our conscious awareness
"Get dressed" said Lois
"Where are we going?" asked Louise
"To see my shrink because you have obviously lost it" Lois said
"C'mon, Lois, just hear me out " implored Louise as she continued:
"When you are day dreaming and imagining the wonderful life you will have with Superman, in actuality, she is the one doing the imagining; you are actually having these thoughts through her. When you write your pieces for the Daily Mirror newspaper she is, in actuality, doing the writing; your thoughts are actually her thoughts" explained Maria.
"Since she is such an intimate part of me how come I cannot see or imagine Her?" asked Lois incredulously.
"Because she is beyond your imagination and sensation" said Louise.
"What about when I am sleeping and not dreaming of Superman or not dreaming of anything at all?"
"Here is a better question for you , Lois: what happens when you die?"
"Yeah I wondered about that. When I die, will I be reincarnated?" mused Lois
"What about Martine; can she die, and if she does what happens to me?" Lois continued
"In the 'play of life' nothing lives forever but Martine is unborn and
undying; she is eternal" Louise mused.
"So you are saying I am going to live forever?" wondered Lois
"yes and no" said Louise
"Are you being deliberately confusing. . .don't waste my time. . ." Lois said impatiently
"Let me explain. As Martine you are eternal and immortal. As Lois Lane you are not immortal nor eternal; so you are both immortal AND mortal! You are born into this world, live your life and die. However your essential nature as Martine is unborn and undying".
"So, Louise, what happens when I die?" said Lois, echoing Louise's question.
"Your essential nature cannot die. Your essential nature is really who and what you are" replied Louise
"You are saying that when I die I am not really dead?" Lois asked, disturbed by the ambiguity.
"Lois: consider
Your
Life as a song on a music CD. Sometimes The-Song-That-Is-You, Your
life, is playing; sometimes Your
Music stops. Your Life doesn’t play
continuously forever. the CD with Your
Song sits on the shelf as it were
until it is ready to be played again. But, whether or not Your life is being
played, The-Song-That-Is-You always exist.“Undying” means your song is
never
not
alive;
“unborn” means Your life, The Music That
Is
You, is temporarily sitting unplayed on the CD
waiting to be played again. Martine is like a
music CD with many songs on it; Martine have played Your Life on many occasions. Martine
is ‘playing’ you now.
The-Music-That-Is-You plays on until the
end, and Martine will ‘play you’ again in the future.”
"Will you stop poking me!?" complained Lois.
"Who is feeling the poke or who is imagining/thinking I might poke you again?" said Louise tickling Lois.
"Stop it, will you. I'm ticklish!" screamed Lois.
"As far as I am concerned, I am the one experiencing the tickles" as she slapped Lois' hand away.
"Who is this 'I'? Can you touch It, can you smell It; can you see this 'I'; are you doing anything yourself or is something doing the 'doing' through you? Who is really witnessing all these tickles, all these experiences?"
"I hear you saying conscious awareness is really who I am, is that right?" asked Lois
"Well it is your conscious awareness that is witnessing all these experiences, internal as well as external experiences: the phenomena in the mind and the appearances in the world outside of you. Wouldn't you say that's true?" answered Louise.
"But you are not being realistic. Without my body I don't exist; my body is really who I am. My body IS me. If I were to accept what you say as true, then I am at the mercy of this 'Martine'" argued Lois.
"In a real sense your life is in actuality her life. Since your life is not actually yours you can't be at her mercy" reasoned Louise.
"You know what?" said Lois stopping Louise.
"What, you are finally getting it?" said Louise with a bright smile on her face.
"No; you finally gave me a headache" sighed Lois.
"Okay, Louise. How come I cannot experience myself as Martine; why is it I can only experience myself as me, 'Lois'?"
"Because, Lois, you have a dual nature. Your apparent nature is who you appear to be (Lois Lane), but your essential nature is conscious awareness itself (Martine). Your consciousness and my consciousness is the same ONE essential consciousness. My/your appearance is continually changing:
Lois as a baby, Lois as an older child, Lois as a teeny bopper, Lois as a teenager, Lois as an adult and, in the future, Lois as a grandmother. You witness streams of changing psychic phenomena: Lois Lane daydreams about when Superman was courting her. Lois Lane imagines a super wedding with superman. Lois Lane imagines having a superfamily, superbabies. Lois Lane, when she sleeps and dreams about the return of Superman, dreams about having a Super Fly Life. Lois Lane's creative imagination produces some of the finest works of fiction. Lois Lane's insightful intuitive mind paints the most awe-inspiring articles ever penned in The Daily Mirror newspaper. Lois Lane's adoring fans rave about her creativity and her literary giftedness. When Lois Lane's fans ask her how she explains her creative genius she replies bashfully:
'I don't know sometimes; when I do my best work it seems as if these stories are just writing themselves through me'
"Lois Lane is having all these inner psychic experiences and all these outer worldly experiences. However, there is one constant: Lois Lane. She is the background screen in which things come into being and pass away" lectured Louise
"It feels very weird the way you talk about me in the third person but I kind a like it! Don't stop!" gushed Lois.
"Yeah yeah. . . Over a life time the person you appear to be has been transformed almost beyond recognition but don't you get the sense that the real 'you' is the same as when you were eight or eighteen? What is this unchanging self that is a witness to your ever-changing appearance? It is conscious awareness itself. What you are is consciousness and what you appear to be is one of its many transient forms. Your form is always changing but what you are is never-changing. It is the same now. . .now. . and now. Consciousness is witnessing a particular unique experience through your unique psyche. Consciousness is witnessing another particular unique experience through my unique psyche. We are two of Martine's many unique appearances. As physical bodies in the material world we are born, live and die but what we are. . ."
"What is gnosis?" asked Lois, cutting off Louise.
"I'm getting to that" said Louise, annoyed.
"How about getting to it before I SHOOT MYSELF!?" screamed Lois.
"Temper, temper my dear" said Louise, being passive-aggressive.
"OK, Lois. Complete this sentence: 'As physical bodies in the material world we are born, live and die but what we are. . .”
"But what we are is unborn and undying" said Lois as she finished Louise's sentence.
"Right. Gnosis is the conscious awareness that you/I are already immortal and always have been. Gnosis is knowing that your essential nature is everyone else's essential nature. The one life-dreamer, the aware consciousness, is dreaming the life-dream which includes all our lives and our world. Our experiences of the inner world of psyche and the outer physical world are Martine's experiences. She is the only being that really exists as far as our world is concerned. She is the conscious awareness in all of us who is witnessing all of our experiences in the world" explained Louise.
"Louise, are you a figment of Martine's imagination?"
"As I appear to you in this world, yes; because Martine has 'scripted my life story'. But in my essential nature, no." Louise tried to explain.
"I am in this world but I am not of this world" Louise added.
"How are you so sure that you are not of this world, and, really how can you say that and believe it. After all you are my twin sister for Christ sakes! I have known you all my life! I knew you before I knew anybody else!" Lois thundered.
"So I am a figment of Martine's imagination since I am obviously of this world. You are not of this world so clearly you are not a figment of her imagination, isn't that correct, Louise?" asked Lois derisively.
"Lois, your essential nature is not of this world. You and I as her appearances, ‘Lois Lane' and 'Louis Lane', exist only in this world" Louise tried to reveal.
"huh?!" said Lois, perplexed.
"Yes, you have a dual nature, Lois. We all have a dual nature. We have an apparent nature and an essential nature, simultaneously. Martine has many different appearances. This life we are living is her dream and as such she is the 'Life Dreamer' dreaming this life. When you are dreaming isn't it your dream? You experience all kinds of things and people in your dream. If you were to have a lucid dream in which you knew you were dreaming, and you confronted a dream person, would she know that she only existed in your dream? In your lucid dreams (when you clearly know you are dreaming, as if watching the scenery from above) you are aware that you are in it but not of it." said Louise making her point, she thought, triumphantly.
"As far as I know, this is it. You say I am not of it but how can you be so sure; how can I be absolutely sure as you seem to be?” interrogated Lois.
"Only someone who has achieved gnosis, also known as nirvana in eastern spiritual traditions, can know for sure. The only difference between you and I is that I am dreaming and I know I am dreaming. However you are dreaming but you are lost in the 'life dream'. You need gnosis to 'wake up!'. Gnosis is not achieved through the thinking mind, your psyche. Gnosis only comes from knowing through experiencing of reality directly. . ."
"I'm dreaming? Didn't you say earlier that I am a dream persona of Martine, now you say I am the dreamer? My dear sister, you want to have your cake and eat it too?" interrupted Lois, thinking that she caught her sister in a fatal illogical flaw.
"You are Martine dreaming that you are Lois. As the dream persona, Lois, you are lost in your dream and, you, Martine, are not aware that you are dreaming. In this particular dream you are not dreaming lucidly. Only when you awake through gnosis will you know your true self. You are Martine, the life-dreamer, dreaming this life. When you achieve gnosis, my dearest Lois, you will know your real self and live a fully awake lucid life", said Louise, in conclusion.
TAKE A BOW:

Is "E" a GOLDFISH, an AMOEBA or a MAN?

60 or so years
ago Dr.EZ was a microscopic organism; in fact sixty odd years ago Dr.EZ was
just a single cell. During about 60 years of growth and development Dr.EZ
transformed into a multicellular organism.
Dr.EZ says he is
a man. But did Dr.EZ have to be a MAN?
Could Dr.EZ have been an AMOEBA or
a GOLDFISH?
Things could have
turned out different for Dr.EZ if. . .
If Dr.EZ's fish
ancestor

did not acquire and hand down land-living adaptive traits to her children,
grandchildren, great-great-great-great . . .great grandchildren
who are the ancestors of "E", Dr.EZ might have been a fish today; Dr.EZ might well have even been a goldfish today. Instead of being the cousin of "Nando-Homo-Sapiens-Man" Dr.EZ might have been the brother of that goldfish called "Nemo".

400 million years
ago Dr.EZ had an ancestor with fins and gills. During 400 million years of
growth and development (through a process called (“Evolution by Natural
Selection") that fish left descendants that would transform their fins,
tail and gills into hands, feet and air breathing lungs. These descendants of Martha began to walk upright and began
to speak gibberish and gossip. Dr.EZ is the son of one of those gibberish gossipers. Dr.EZ's

The land-living-land-loving genetic information contained in Dr.EZ's DNA was collected over 400 million years by Dr.EZ's ancestors including Martha & Eduardo ("The Fishies"), and their amphibian, reptilian, mammalian and human descendants and was subsequently handed down to Dr.EZ.

Lucky for Dr.
"E" things turned out the
way it did. Things could have been quite different if. . .
If Dr.EZ were "EZ-The-Paramecium" (EZ-P) , instead of "EZ-E-Soul-Man"(EZ-E), that Vancomycin antibiotic that almost killed "Betty-The-Bacterium" would surely have had near-fatal consequences for EZ-P as well. When asked if he would trade places with "unicellular-EZ-P", the fully grown Gossiping-Bipedal-Tool-Using-Singing-And-Tap-Dancing "multicellular-EZ-E" shouted out
"HELL NO!! NOT IN A BILLION YEARS!!"

Instead, “Dr-EZ-THE-HOMO-SAPIENS-MAN”, will hand
down this One Billion year collection of "Amoeba", goldfish and Homo
Sapiens adaptive genetic traits to his sons and daughters. Before passing along
this acquired "Gene Set" from his parents to his sons and daughters, Dr.EZ may or may not contribute one or more of his own unique "Dr.EZ genes” to the collection. Dr.EZ's children in turn will hand down this collection of "Family Jewels" to Dr.EZ's
grand and great-grand children . . .

Evolution by Artificial Selection
and Evolution by Natural Selection
(aka Breeding by Man
and Breeding by Mother Nature)
Evolution by
Natural Selection is like dog or pigeon breeding. Dog Breeders who favor
Marmaduke Giantism bred The Great Dane. Those breeders selecting for small
sized dogs that can fit in a woman's small handbag bred The Chihuahua. Man's breeding by
"Artificial Selection" have evolved at most a few thousands breeds of
animals, plants and vegetables. Mother Nature, with a head start of BILLIONS of years
have Naturally Selected and bred many many millions of species.
Both Natural
Selection by Mother Nature and Artificial Selection by Man use the same
"animal breeding" Principle. This Principle is called The Evolutionary Algorithm of VARIATION, SELECTION and
HEREDITY.
VARIATION: Many variations arise but both Man and
Mother Nature have their preferences. Variations in dog sizes from very big
body to tiny small body are available out there for a dog breeder ("Doggy
Artificial Selector") to mold into
her preferred size. Small body and large body breeder preferences will
Artificially Select (breed) Shih Tzus & Chihuahuas, and Saint Bernard & Great Danes respectively. Many species variations in
choices of breathing oxygen arise but
Mother Nature's "Water-living Natural Breeders" choose gills for ocean-living breathing while "Land-living-and-Air-living Natural Breeders" prefer
lungs for air breathing.
SELECTION: A wide range of dog type
variations are available. "The Giantism Breeder Selection Environment"
will choose The Rottweiler or The Bloodhound and reject The Poodle
and The
Mexican Lap Dog (which is extinct by the way) "The Toy Dog Breeder
Selection Environment" will Artificially Select The Pug, Scottish
Terrier & Fox Terrier and The Cocker Spaniel & The Springer
Spaniel. Mother Nature has a huge and deep variation in bacteria and
viruses in very many categories and in tens of thousands of species. “The Gram
Positive Natural Selection Breeder Environments” will select E. Coli, Salmonella and Shigella.
“The Anaerobic Natural Selection Breeder Environments” will select C. Diff, B. Pyogenes and
A. Funkei. Man also unwittingly breed bacteria. The “Antibiotic Over Use Artificial Selector Environments” (for example hospitals) have evolved resistance strains of bacteria like MRSA and Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus. Then there is The HIV-AIDS Virus. Man has thrown everything at HIV including the kitchen sink, but HIV keeps bobbing and weaving and evolving away by quickly selecting a variety of adaptive forms.

Mother Nature
prefers Natural Selection for breeding her species. Man favors Artificial Selection
to breed his pets, farm animals, vegetables, garden variety flowers and plants. However, both Man and
Mother Nature apply the same principles of The Evolutionary Algorithm. This Principle
involves:
VARIATION presenting a huge choice of random mutant
genes to Selection, then
SELECTION weeds out non-adaptive gene variants and chooses adaptive genetic improvements
from among the huge mass of random gene mutations, then
HEREDITY hands
down the accumulating adaptive gene selections from one generation to the next
generation.
The
Biological Tree of Life grows branches and evolves as
biological organisms accumulate improving adaptive traits.
God only knows
why he put us on this tree, but this One Life-Tree on which humanity is a mere
twig grows and develops by the process of Evolution by Natural Selection
using the Principle of The Evolutionary Algorithm of Variation, Selection
and Heredity…
Spirit, Consciousness,
Reality and The Persona of Consciousness
The spiritual
world is the subjective world modelling the objective world. Spirit models reality
like your daughter’s Doll House models a real house. Spiritual Phenomena models
Material Phenomena. The Spirit's Reality-Model contains three most important dimensions: (1) Consciousness,
(2) The Persona of Consciousness and (3) Spiritual phenomena that models
external objective and internal subjective phenomena of reality.
Consciousness is the screen within the spiritual landscape on which consciousness itself renders its modeling design of objective reality as well as its original imaginative subjective reality creations.
Consciousness witnesses, or observes, its designs but experiences its renderings through its many unique personas.
like a member of the audience watching a performance, consciousness witnesses the drama.
like a character in a play, consciousness experiences the objective and subjective reality landscape through its persona
The Persona is Consciousness experiencing reality. Consciousness is a part of the subjective spiritual world. Objectively, the spiritualized human being is a biological body that possesses self awareness, or consciousness.

The Persona is Consciousness experiencing reality. Consciousness is a part of the subjective spiritual world. Objectively, the spiritualized human being is a biological body that possesses self awareness, or consciousness.
Having consciousness gives a biological being awareness and self awareness. All biological bodies are bodies existing in experiential reality. What makes a Homo Sapiens a special animal is that she is a human being living and experiencing life with exceptional self awareness. Few if any other animals possess very little of what could pass as conscious awareness and self awareness (it is believed that chimpanzees, dolphins, whales and octopuses might possess a respectable amount of self awareness).
The Martine Persona is a consciousness "living life", sometimes lucidly and sometimes in a deep-sleep state. The Martine Persona is a human being who knows that she is a self aware biological body. If she is in a state of Gnosis, she knows she is a consciousness embedded in a human being. If she has little or no Gnosis she most likely is ignorant that she is not just a human being. She may not be aware that she is a conscious spirit embedded in a biological body. Just as an organism like a falcon possesses flying organs called Wings and Feathers to fly, humans possess spirit organs called Consciousness, Persona and Mindthat allow them to have awareness, self awareness, understanding of their subjective and objective reality environments, the ability to reason, think and to have an idea as to what they are doing and why they do what they do. Except for Zombie humans, ordinary humans are one-of-a-kind sentient beings (If "The Zombie Apocalypse" pandemic, that some say will be caused by some viral infection epidemic, and others say will be caused by some geeks smarts-programming zombies who are going to plan it, was to occur, then I stand corrected!).
The Persona of Consciousness, Martine, may experience the play. Consciousness Itself may witness the play. It is impossible for Martine to sense (see, hear, feel, etc), image and/or imagine Consciousness in any (earthly) way. Due to its intrinsic nature, a persona may only experience reality. Even though she may not experience Consciousness nor witness Consciousness, as Martine starts to "Know Herself" better, her intuitive wisdom imbues her with the knowledge (imbues her with Gnosis)that she is far more than "this body"; through Gnosis she will know, sooner or later, that she is Consciousness.
One school of
thought, mostly some philosophers, would insist Martine is a Persona of
Consciousness. Consciousness models a Persona when consciousness chooses to
experience reality. This means reality is a part of Consciousness.
Consciousness creates reality and creates personas of itself in order to
explore and experience reality that is contained within Consciousness Itself. The Persona of Consciousness, Martine, may experience the play. Consciousness Itself may witness the play. It is impossible for Martine to sense (see, hear, feel, etc), image and/or imagine Consciousness in any (earthly) way. Due to its intrinsic nature, a persona may only experience reality. Another school of
thought, Cosmologists mainly, would strongly disagree. They argue that the
evidence of the Big Bang Evolution of The Universe coupled with the evolution
of our Darwinian Tree of Life is overwhelming. This overwhelming evidence has
convinced them that spiritual reality is an emergent phenomenon of developing
evolving material reality. For Cosmologists and Evolutionists, The Human Spirit is an organ of survival adaptation that our particular life form has
evolved to better succeed at living just like we evolved arms, legs, an upright way of walking and lungs in order to better adapt and survive in a land-living
environment.
Some philosophers
would go along with a group of some Superstring physicists that an unreasonable
amount of "fine tuning" of the laws of The Universe is required to make
The Universe life friendly and livable for us. They insist there are just too
many unlikely coincidences too perfectly lined up without some
"Intelligence" being responsible.
Within the
scientific and philosophic communities, the jury is still out. M-theory String
Theorists, Cosmologists, Superstring Theorists and Quantum Mechanics physicists
say we need to collect a lot more evidence a while longer to convince us one
way or the other. The Religious Community says it is "No secret. God is the Divine
'Secret Sauce' that makes The Universe perfect for life"
