OBJECTIVE AND SUBJECTIVE REALITY RELOADED

SPONTANEOUSLY, A DISTURBANCE IN THE FORM OF A CAN OF CONDENSED MILK GENERATES OUT OF THE DEEP MYSTERIOUS VOID. I SEE FLOATING IN FRONT OF ME A SOLID; ITS TOP IS WHITE AND ITS BOTTOM IS BLACK, AND ITS FLESH IS SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK. I HEAR A SOUND COMING FROM ITS WHITE TOP IN A VOICE THAT SAYS:

                       "Taste me!"

HERE IS THE ENSUING DIALOGUE...................................................................................................

 "How are you able to talk, you are just milk?"

 "Where do you hear the sound of my voice?"

 "The sound is coming from your head, or your top."

 "So there, I am in my head! I would add that the sound you hear is also inside YOUR head!"

"Exactly where in my head is the sound of my voice coming from?"

"I have a video of inside your head and I do not hear any sound/voice coming from it, and I don't see any sound/disturbance in it. I clearly don't see you in the picture but I see your absence. I see your absence everywhere"

"So you're saying you can see me by my absence; so I am
      invisible, a ghost?"

"There is no such phenomenon as a ghost, and I don’t believe in
  ghosts; there is no ghost in your brain! your mind is a  real subjective
  presence in consciousness. Since your mind is a subjective phenomenon,
 it can only be experienced by consciousness"

"So I am not absent from the mind; I am a real mental
  phenomenon but you cannot see me?"

"No. I cannot see your mind, nor can I see inside your mind"
 "I know you cannot see my mind or see inside my mind but
  you clearly know that my mind is inside my head!"

"But when I opened your head and looked inside I did not see a
  mind, I did not see any mind stuff in your brain! The
  conclusion of my observation is that your mind is not inside
  any part of your head."
 "Clearly you cannot see the stuff in my mind directly;
  The sounds you hear coming from my head are
  Being generated by the network of neurons making up my brain"

 "On the contrary, I can directly see some of the stuff of your mind in my mind. Check this out:"

'Do you see the garbage can?'
 "Yes I see the garbage can"
'Is it black and silver?'
  "YES"
'So the same garbage can you
   see is the same one I see;
   both of us are seeing the same
   Subjective phenomenon; you see it
   in your mind and I see it in my mind'

"So you are saying the garbage can image is real; it is not
  A figment of yours or my mind?"

'The image of the can you are seeing in the mind is a copy of an object that exists in the
 material world outside my mind and your mind;
 physical disturbances generate a 3-D subjective
 image in my mind and your mind. The garbage can I am
 looking directly at in front of me is an image in
 my mind; the garbage can image you are seeing
 directly exists only inside your mind. Images in
 consciousness correspond to physical objects
 in the material world outside of consciousness;
 you and I can see the objects only subjectively;
 consciousness enables me to SEE but the thing
 that is doing the SEEING (CONSCIOUSNESS) cannot
 be seen. Another way of stating this is:'

Physiological impressions on the brain gives rise to
corresponding mind phenomena, and conscious experiences
of these subjective mind phenomena enables you to see the
various images or hear the various sounds. Consciousness
itself  knows the mind by directly experiencing it;
you cannot see your mind but your consciousness informs you of
the mind's existence. Someone famously said:'

"cogito, ergo sum!"

Consciousness is real but it exists outside of the material realm. You are sitting in your kitchen. The stove, refrigerator, microwave oven and so on as you can see are there. However, the entity that is making these observations is the one thing you can't see anywhere in the kitchen. You are aware of its presence, and can feel it sitting behind your eyes looking at all the kitchen stuff but its  presence remains unobserved. Your consciousness lies behind the material scenery, silently thinking, observing, listening, feeling, smelling, tasting; experiencing for you!

 What is the "I", the "Self" or the "Ego"? Supposedly the Ego is that which is in control and the thing that creates thoughts and perceptions; supposedly without the creativity and the control by the Ego, nothing can get started or be accomplished. The Ego is that which gets things done. The Ego is an illusion! Not real! Thoughts are real mental experiences; real also are visual, auditory, tactile, taste and smell perceptions that the mind accesses through the five senses and the brain. These perceptual experiences of the mind are external disturbances within material reality. They are mental perceptions of external material disturbances. The scenery of thought and perceptual experiences you are having is arising within consciousness itself. The illusion is believing that you (Ego) are directly creating and controlling the thoughts arising in your mind; so you take full responsibility for them. When they cause success you take credit; when they falter you take the blame. This is a source of unhappiness and suffering. Your mind can be a wild arena of unwieldy competing thoughts that pour out into your consciousness unbidden. Often times you have no control over them, and most of them you don’t consciously create. These spontaneously arising thoughts within your consciousness can and do take control over your mind and body. Whatever havoc these uncontrollable thoughts may wrought, you are to blame because, you believe, they are your creations..

ASHLEY IS STILL ASLEEP EVEN THOUGH IT IS 10AM ON A WORK DAY. CONCERNED, I KNOCK ON HER DOOR:

"KNOCK!! KNOCK!!"

"Go away! . . . what?"

"Aren’t you late for work?"

"I don’t feel like working anymore, I quit!

"OOKAY"

SOMETIME LATER (A FEW WEEKS HAVE PASSED):

 "Ash, we need to talk. The family's economic situation has taken a turn for the worse; you will have to contribute a little more from now on"

"Dad a few weeks ago I had this thought that I did not need to work anymore, and my Ego motivated me to quit my job"

"Your 'EGO' strongly advised you to stop working for a living?"

"Well my Ego reasoned that I will be living here forever and you and mom will support me economically"

"Ashley, where is your EGO at this moment?"

"Dad, even though you can’t see or hear my Ego, it's right here, right now"

"So, Ash, you are saying this ego that I can neither  see nor hear motivated  thoughts in you to quit your job?"

 "Well, kind of . . . I heard voices in my head about quitting and agreed to take the advice"

"And these voices are controlled and created by your ego, that entity that can neither be seen nor heard. Is that right? This ego tripping you speak of, could it be an hallucination you are having; could it   be an illusion you are hallucinating? I think you are ego tripping about your present temporary care free economic circumstances"

 "Are you saying, dad, you are not REALLY going to support me financially and economically forever?"

 "Yes, ashley; the thought you just expressed is not an illusion; the thoughts you just expressed were motivated by your real financial and economic circumstances"

 "So, dad, there is no Ego impelling my actions?"

No. The belief of having an ego is false; it is an illusion. What is motivating you and what will continue to propel you are the challenges and opportunities of material circumstances you are and will continue to grapple with throughout your life! There is no 'ego puppet master' creating, controlling or pulling the strings of your motivating thoughts. Your real environmental milieu germinates the thoughts you are experiencing in your mind. The real you is consciousness; the scenery of internal experiences of imagination and thoughts, and external experiences of sensuous perceptions arises spontaneously within the consciousness. And what is the   role of consciousness? It is the observer of experiences that enables you to have experiences. You personally observe and experience the world through consciousness itself. Consciousness itself enables you to view the world through the personal thoughts and perceptions arising in your consciousness. Consciousness is like the movie-maker and the movie-projector-player. Without consciousness the movie experience is not created and the movie experience does not play out for you to see. Without consciousness enabling it, your conscious experience of the movie does not happen. You yourself are an experience occurring in the movie! Yes you are a character in the opera having experiences and simultaneously viewing the opera through consciousness. Let's revisit the garbage can. The material objective garbage can is represented, in your mind, by a subjective image. This subjective mental phenomenon is a reflection of your consciousness being consciously aware of one of its experiences.

Here is a metaphor to ponder: Consciousness is the well springs of an ocean of infinite depth. Experiences emerge from its infinite depths to rise to various heights above the ocean floor. These experiences eventually return to their source, the infinite ocean depths of consciousness. You are an experience that arose from this ocean, and simultaneously an experience through which consciousness itself observes and acts in the world.
